Our next (FOURTH) practice for
APCA DRAGONS is on 6/15/13
Our next practice will be on 6/15/13 so please let me know if you will be attending next practice since I’ll be using it to create boat roster. Also remember to come early and check-in so that you get credit for attendance. We’ll also have boot camp class before paddling so for those interested should sign up so that instructor can prepare.

LOGISTICS
Here's the basic logistics of the
day so plans to be here all day as a team. It would be even good idea to bring
light lunch since you'll be here about 5 hours. Only thing different starting
next practice is that there will be no more basic dragon boating session.
09:30-10:15am - Boot camp exercise session (Optional)

10:45-11:00am - Gear up and line up
11:00-12:30pm - First on the water practice - Boat 8 & 9
12:30-12:45pm - Bring up boat and clean

01:00-02:00pm - Second on the water practice - Boat 8
02:00-02:15pm - Bring up boat and clean
02:15-02:30pm - Cool down stretch
02:30-02:45pm - Info session
10:45-11:00am - Gear up and line up

HOME WORK!!!
This week's home work
will be to do some light workout in addition to your normal exercise routine.
You can do one of Gold,
Silver, or Bronze Level.
You may do this in any
order you like and always warm up before any exercise.
Bronze: 10 jumping jacks, 10 push-ups, 10 squats, 10 sit ups
Silver: 20 jumping jacks, 20 push-ups, 20 squats, 20 sit ups
Gold: 30 jumping jacks, 30 push-ups, 30 squats, 30 sit ups
Now for those overachievers out there!!!
I will give you Platinum level: 40 jumping jacks, 40
push-ups, 40 squats, 40 sit ups
Or for more challenge…
Do all levels (Bronze,
Silver, Gold, Platinum) and you are at Titanium
level.
After you complete one
of the levels then you can either send me an email or post to our blog at
http://apcadragons.blogspot.com/ or post to facebook by this Friday 6pm PT.
This will be counted
toward the Participation Award.
