InspirASIAN Dragons: InspirASIAN Dragons! Get ready for first practice of the year!

Hello Team,

First practice is this Saturday, June 3.

I hope you read my email so you know where to park and what to wear. (I’m including it again at the bottom of this email)

To be able to participate, you will need to fill out a waiver with SCDBC (Southern California Dragon Boat Club) before you can be on the boat.

Be sure to do this before Friday, June 2.

Here’s the instruction on how to fill out the waiver.

First, get a verification code from SCDBC, using link http://tiny.cc/scdbcID
Then go to the waiver page at http://tiny.cc/scdbcwaiver
For Type of Participant, choose: Festival Team (for Spring Race or Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival only)
For Primary Team Affiliation or Vendor Name, choose: InspirASIAN
By this time, you should have received Participant's Verification Code from SCDBC. You can input the code under Participant's Verification Code.

All other section should be self explanatory.

Here’s what you should expect for the first practice.

Schedule for 6/3/2013

10:00am-10:15am – Check in

10:15am-10:30am – Learn basic of dragon boat paddling

10:30am-10:40am – Warm up & line up.

10:40am-10:50am – Gear up and meet at boat

10:50am-11:00am – Line up and enter the boat

11:00am-11:55am – On the water practice

11:55am-12:30pm – Bring up the boat and clean

12:30pm-12:45pm – Cool down stretch

1:00pm – End of practice
