APCA Dragons Extra Practice Time

Hello Team,

As you know, we do not have practice next week 6/20/15.
Some of you said you would like an extra practice.

I would like an offer to paddle with Space Dragons next week Saturday 6/20/15 and/or Sunday 6/21/15. It will be great way to get practice with the year round team.

If you would like to take this offer then please contact Connie via email at cw6951@att.com by Wednesday 6/17/15 so that she can advise Space coach.

AT&T APCA Dragons Practice 7

Hello Team,

Get ready for some workout!
We’ll have short land workout before our paddle on 6/27/15.
It is not a requirement to attend the land workout but you do get point for participation award.

We will start assigning people to each boat and seating for practice race so very important that you reply yes or no to this invite.

AT&T APCA Dragons 2015 Home Work #3 + Info Gathering‏

HOME WORK!!!

This week's home work will be very simple to prepare for next practice.

Race Start

Practice your race start by imagining you are at the start line and hear “WE HAVE AN ALIGNMENT”…“PADDLERS, ARE YOU READY”…”ATTENTION”…***HORN or ANY OTHER SOUND*** then do 4 deep strokes motion, 16 ups (faster strokes but at the front only), and finally 10 deep strokes (Power 10). Practice this 10 times.

Please reply to me via Email, Facebook, or the Blog page that you completed by this Friday.

1. Are you going to be attending both race days 7/18-7/19?
2. Do you have a preferential side?
3. What is your weight?
4. We'll be ordering T-Shirt (Around $25) I will be using different shirt this year. It will fit like regular T-Shirt.
(For example... I will be ordering Medium since it's NOT fitted shirt, I would order Large if it was fitted shirt)

AT&T APCA Dragons Evite Invitation for Practice 6

Hello Team,

Thank you for those who attended the fifth practice session and now we are more than half way done so only 3 more practices to go before the race.

We will start assigning people to each team so we may even get to practice race with each other this Saturday We will always work on your form and timing.

Our team is now close to new members so I am no longer sending practice invitations to folks who hasn’t come out this year.
