Hello APCA Dragons and prospective new team
members,
It was another great practice this past Saturday.
Everyone seems to be getting little hang of what paddling is. We have to focus on timing which is essential
for dragon boat team.
I like to thank the coaches (Zina), steers
(Curtis, Rob) and helpers (Connie, Niccole).
Thank you also to those who helped clean up the
boat and our equipment.
We discussed again about safety on the boat,
logistics for the practice, participation award, home work, weight, Evite, goal
and paddling basic. If you haven’t come out to practice yet and you are new
then please come early to go over the information that you may have missed.
DUE TO
THE POPULAR DEMAND
We are
changing the practice time that was scheduled for 5/23 to 5/16 since 5/23 is
same weekend of Memorial Day. This means
that we are meeting again this Saturday.
Please reply to apcadragonboat@yahoo.com if you
are attending this Saturday (5/16) by Thursday (5/14) so we can get the boat
ready.
This will
be the last email going out to my entire distribution list so if you are still
interested being in our team and did not attend any of the practice or didn’t
speak to me about it then please let me know. After this email, I will only be
sending out to the team members who signed up.
